Experimenting with brushes, underwater scenes, different textures and techniques. Haha, this whole piece is basically just a conglomeration of things I hadn't done before.

I fell in love with the colors. I love the contrast between blue and orange, and the blurriness (that probably comes from the different brushes) is perfect! It makes the whole thing look really "underwaterish".

The style that you use to draw hair: perfection. The waves are incredebly cool.

it's so pretty. the light on the hair really gives it the impression of being underwater, and i love the soft edges of it. things to work on i guess would be the hands (the one on her right looks a bit funny...) and maybe having a consistent edge for everything? for example, something very small, maybe you could make the lips be less contrasting and softer like the hair...unless you were meaning to make the lips the center of attention, but for me i think the hair is prettiest.
